Nesting American Robins
Right outside of my house, a couple of robins nested during the spring of 2017. I went out daily to photograph them and their babies, recording the progress and growth of their little family. Later in the spring, they occupied the same nest a second time, producing another clutch. Twice I was able to watch as they created a family and see their babies grow.

Day 20
At this point, there were still four babies. Shortly after they hatched, I noticed that one of the babies was quite a bit larger than the other three. He received most of the food and attention from his parents and so it wasn't surprising to see how much more quickly he was growing compared to his siblings.
